Docs and shared knowledge
Keep the explanation close to the work it supports.
Create briefs, instructions, meeting notes and reports with collaborative editing, useful organization, revision history and deliberately chosen sharing.
A document should remain useful after its author leaves the conversation.
Teams need a place where an explanation can develop beyond one person's notes. Docs brings collaborative writing and business context together in Tsumira. A project brief can stay near the lists or records it explains, while reading and editing still follow document authority. The team owns the accuracy, current meaning and intended audience of the material.

Collaborative document editing
Develop shared documents with profile photos, named cursors and a common page rather than circulating parallel drafts for every contribution.
AI writing and reports
Ask for a draft, organize information and refine wording in editable documents while checking facts, audience and proposed actions before use.
Documents connected to business records
Bring documents together with business lists and records so a brief or report can lead readers back to the work, within their permitted access.
Document organization and search
Organize documents with spaces and nested pages, then use name, owner and space filters to find the work you need.
Document templates and revision history
Use meeting-note, project-brief and wiki templates, inspect previous revisions and restore useful content as a new version.
Document reading, editing and public links
Grant appropriate reading or editing access, or let the owner create a time-limited public document URL with a restricted public representation.
AI meeting notes in Docs: planned
In development: organize a speaker-attributed meeting into a summary, decisions and proposed next actions, then save a draft in the relevant working area.
PlannedWrite together rather than exchange parallel drafts.
With live collaboration available, profile photos and named cursors show who is working where. Colleagues can develop the same document instead of forwarding competing copies. Agree how edits become a reviewed result: visible presence shows participation, not professional approval or consent to every change. A shared page still needs an owner for its final meaning.
- Shared editing with identifiable collaborators
Organize the knowledge and preserve its history.
Use spaces and nested pages to put documents in an understandable place. Search and filters help find material by name, owner or space. Templates provide a starting structure for meeting notes, project briefs and wiki pages. Inspect prior revisions when needed and restore useful content as a new version rather than silently erasing the intervening work.
- Page organization, templates and revision history

Use AI and sharing with deliberate review.
AI can help draft and refine writing, while people verify substance and proposed actions. Documents can connect to business lists and records without making hidden data available to every reader. Choose reading, editing or external sharing intentionally. Automatic live meeting-to-Docs notes are in development and should not be confused with existing writing and uploaded-audio assistance.
- Reviewed AI writing and explicit audience choices
A concrete workflow
Choose purpose

Verify facts, changes and any business information the document references.
Share
Choose reading or editing access and maintain the current document.
An illustrative working example
Illustrative scenario: a project brief
A consultancy drafts a brief for a customer engagement. Colleagues edit goals and scope together, add the relevant working context and review the wording before sharing. A later change is visible through the document's history. In the pilot, a colleague who missed the meeting checks whether the brief explains the current decision and the next step. The team clarifies gaps before treating the document as the shared project reference.
Questions about this topic
Can people edit the same page together?
Collaborative editing supports shared work with participant identity and cursors when the collaboration service is available. Document editing rights still apply.
Does a template establish compliance?
No. A meeting, brief or wiki template is a starting structure. Verify professional and contractual requirements separately.
Can an old revision be used again?
History allows inspection and restoration of useful content as a new version. Review the restored result against the current context.
Are automatic live meeting notes already available?
That connected live workflow is in development. Uploaded audio transcription and writing assistance are distinct capabilities and must not be presented as live meeting automation.
