SWITCHING GUIDE
Choosing a Bitrix24 alternative: keep customer channels and team work owned
Plan the move around conversations, open requests and operational responsibility. Test Tsumira with a controlled customer case while keeping unverified channels and dependencies in place.
Read the product comparisonCommunication continuity matters more than a fresh start
Moving a collaboration platform can affect work that is not visible in the customer list. Open requests, internal decisions and the person expected to reply can be scattered across different places. Start by mapping those commitments. A new workspace is useful only if the team still knows what to do and the customer can still reach the responsible person.
A concrete workflow
Capture the open work
Inventory active requests, customer references and channels. Assign a response owner and preserve access to required history.
Prepare a controlled sample
Map companies, contacts and opportunities. Demonstrate any required connection independently instead of assuming records activate a channel.
Rehearse and decide
Use one request through discussion and delivery. Review duplicate-message risk, record ownership and unresolved operating requirements before expanding.
Inventory channels and active commitments
List the channels your organization actually uses, their responsible people and any open requests. Include internal conversations that explain a customer decision, but distinguish them from customer-facing messages. Decide which history must stay accessible and which current records belong in the pilot. Do not promise that every previous chat, call or channel history will transfer into Tsumira.
- Identify a reply owner for every active request.
- Keep the original history accessible where necessary.
Move records independently from channel connections
Tsumira has CSV import paths for companies, contacts and opportunities. These records can form a controlled customer sample; they do not constitute a complete communication migration. Verify mailbox and other connection requirements separately. WhatsApp in Tsumira is optional and feature-gated. Keep an established channel operating until its replacement is configured, enabled and demonstrated with the intended users.
- Reconcile the sample’s customer and company relationships.
- Test channel readiness separately from a successful CSV import.
Rehearse the operating handover
Pick a request that requires internal discussion and a delivery task. Decide where the customer response is sent, where the task is owned and where updates become authoritative. Include the actual administrators in the review. If the current environment has special operating or deployment arrangements, inventory them explicitly; the address of a Tsumira instance does not establish equivalent infrastructure or operating rights.
- Check access for both customer-facing and internal roles.
- Define a return procedure before changing the live channel.
An illustrative working example
Illustrative transition: a shared support request
A service team wants less fragmented coordination. It selects an existing request, keeps the customer-facing mailbox under its current owner and tests the related internal work in Tsumira. Only after a separately verified response flow is demonstrated does it consider changing the communication boundary. WhatsApp is not included merely because it appears in a product menu; enablement and a real exchange remain necessary.
Questions about this topic
Can all collaboration history be moved automatically?
No universal transfer is promised. Decide what history is required, where it will remain accessible and what can be mapped to the new workflow. Treat unsupported history categories explicitly.
Does importing contacts activate communication channels?
No. A record import and a channel connection are different tasks. Configure and test the required connection, user access and response ownership separately.
What should we do with an established deployment arrangement?
Document the actual responsibilities, access and dependencies before selecting a replacement. Do not infer the same operating model from a new instance name or domain.
What is a safe pilot result?
The team can locate the customer, understand the request, assign the next task and identify who replies. Remaining channels and operational dependencies are documented rather than silently abandoned.
